Hurricane Athletics offers basketball at the middle school, junior varsity, and varsity levels, for both boys and girls.

Tryouts begin the first part of October, registration follows around the third week of October, and practices begin immediately thereafter.  Games begin the first of November and continue through the middle of February.

Practice locations vary.  Games are generally no further than 1 hour away, and it is the parents' responsibility to get their athlete to the games, although car pooling is encouraged and often available.

Hurricane Basketball is excited to be starting a new initiative to develop the Girls Basketball Program starting with the 2018/2019 season. New leaders have joined the Hurricanes, with the focus on player outreach and enhanced player development to build a best-in-class program. To begin this initiative, we need to start work immediately. Whether your child has played before or not, if they are interested in basketball, that is a great place to start. Our goal in the Spring Orientation & Skills Clinic is to orient the players to the sport and the Hurricanes' program and to do a full skills assessment so we can begin development. This will ensure we have a strong foundation as we prepare for Off-Season Training for all girls interested in participating in Hurricane Basketball in 2018/2019. You can see all the information below!
